As the conversation between them continued, Horner introduced Brundle to a few animals. A host of animals include dogs, donkeys, horses, and goats. About them, the Briton shared, ” That one [goat] is called Chase [after former F1 boss Chase Carey], but then it had a baby,” he laughed. “A small problem!”

The family of the British international had a dog named after Bernie Ecclestone (in tribute to ex-F1 supremo) “Bernie unfortunately died last year but Flav [after former Benetton and Renault team boss Flavio Briatore] is still going strong. He’s a bit overweight,” added Horner. “We just seem to be collecting more animals.”

Has Christian Horner named after anybody Toto Wolff?

In between the conversation, Brundle asked Horner about his relationship with Toto. To which the Red Bull top executive stated that it’s not personal at all. Horner also praised the Mercedes boss for his work at the Brackley-based team.

About the animals again, particularly horses, Horner further shared, “They’re named after Geri’s songs. So he’s called Lift Me Up.” Pointing to another horse, he added: “I don’t know what we’re going to call him, Stop Right Now or something. That’s probably not a good name for a horse.”
